Counterparties
Mark which business partners in a company's books are other companies of the group, so intercompany balances can be matched.
On this page
Every business partner named in a company's accounting journal — customers, suppliers, banks and the group's own companies — is listed on the company's Counterparties page. Marking a partner as a group company tells CFO Panorama that its lines are intercompany, so the intercompany balances can be matched pair by pair. Nothing here changes your accounting; it only labels partners for reporting.

Getting there
Companies → the company → Counterparties. Admins and editors can open it.
What you see
The line at the top counts the partners, how many are flagged as group companies and, if any, how many are suggested by IČO. The table lists:
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Partner | The partner's name as the journal names it. |
| IČ | Its company registration number, where the books carry one. |
| Key | The partner's code in the accounting system. |
| Lines | How many journal lines name it. |
| Is group company | The group company this partner is, or —. |
Flagged automatically by IČO
When a partner's IČO is the IČO of another company of the group, the partner is flagged as that company automatically when the journal is imported. An IČO is a legal identifier, so the match is exact. This happens once: a partner that someone has already set, changed or cleared by hand is never changed again by an import.
Where an IČO match exists but the partner has not been flagged — for example because someone cleared it — the row shows suggested: <company> with a Use suggestion button. Nothing is saved until you use it.
Setting or clearing a partner by hand
Set partners by hand when the books carry no IČO for them, or a different one — for example a partner entered under a short name or a foreign registration number. A partner cannot be its own company. Every change is recorded in the group's audit log.
