A familiar starting point

Three steps to a clearer view.

01

Connect

Connect POHODA, Money S3 or Microsoft Business Central once. From then on the journal, the chart of accounts and the cost-centre lists come in automatically. The standard exports remain available as a fallback.

02

Map & review

The mapping wizard connects local accounts to the group chart of accounts: default suggestions cover most of them and you confirm the rest. Unmapped or inconsistently classified amounts are never hidden — they stay visible in every report until resolved. Only a poorly structured chart of accounts needs deeper cleanup, which can be done as a separate service.

03

Report & discuss

Compare companies and periods, review the cash flow and the ratios, and share the Excel workbook or the PowerPoint board pack with its findings and management questions.

Before you get started

A few practical questions.

Does this replace my accounting software?

No. CFO Panorama is a management-reporting layer. You keep your books in your current accounting system; CFO Panorama reads its data for analysis. Nothing is written back to the books.

Which accounting systems can I use?

POHODA, Money S3 and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central connect directly and read-only: once set up with you during onboarding, the journal and the lists come in automatically. The standard exports (POHODA XML, Money S3 Excel) remain available as a fallback. Compatibility with other systems is confirmed during onboarding.

How much setup work is it?

Less than you might expect. Your accounting system is connected once and the data comes in automatically; the wizard then maps the accounts to the group chart of accounts with default suggestions that cover most of them, and you confirm the rest. Anything unmapped stays visible in the reports rather than disappearing. Only a poorly structured chart of accounts needs deeper cleanup, which can be done as a separate service. Your accountant keeps working in POHODA or Money S3; nothing is written back.

Where do the hotel and restaurant statistics come from?

From the hotel's PMS or the restaurant's POS: a direct connection where the system offers an interface, set up with you during onboarding, or the system's export file uploaded each month. For hotels the rooms revenue the PMS reports is checked against the accounting journal and any difference is shown.

Can I use it for just one company?

Yes. A single company gets the same statements, period comparisons, cash flow and ratios. Consolidation adds the group view when you have several companies.

Are all industry templates available now?

Hotel reporting (USALI, hotel statistics) and the restaurant P&L run today on the demo groups. A service business uses the core statements and dimension views; a dedicated layout is configured per client. Operational measures need the relevant operational data, not just accounting entries.

What does it cost?

Pricing is being finalised. The Pricing page shows the proposed structure for a single company, a business group and a reporting partner. Beta participation is agreed individually.

Can I work directly in Excel?

Yes. Every report downloads as a native .xlsx workbook with the P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and ratios on separate tabs, typed numbers, formulas for the derived columns and a provenance sheet. The management questions sheet is filled in Excel and uploaded again.

Where is my data kept?

On Google Cloud in Frankfurt, in a database with per-client isolation. Sign-in uses two-factor authentication. The data processing agreement and the privacy notice are linked in the footer.
